Apologies if this has been posted before but yesterday we attended the funeral of one of our West Ham family subhas "Subby" Patel who sadly recently lost his battle with Cancer.
Subby and his son Shiv have followed our team over land and sea for years home and away .
A tremendous assembly of family,friends and West Ham family attended in Wolverhampton . Subby will be sadly missed taken too soon aged 55 . Bubbles was played and club flag draped over his coffin , rare for a Hindu ceremony but that man loved the club.

There will be a tribute by the club to Subby Patel who recently passed away. It will be at half time during the sunderland match on Saturday 27th February. Please spread the word gentlemen .
